4 ISALC - General Information ISALC

• Intensive English program focuses on integration of skills

• Content courses such as business, science, computers, media, research skills

• Four levels of full-time instruction; fifth level for academic transition

• Follows LC calendar

-Fall and Spring semesters-15 weeks

-Summer semester-6 and 12 week sessions

 

5 ISALC - Who Can Apply? I

• Graduates of accredited high schools

• Must have high quality academic record

• Elementary knowledge of English required

 

6 ISALC - To Apply, Submit the Following:

• Completed application and non-refundable fee

• Official school transcripts and officially translated English copies

• Certificate of financial responsibility

• Upon acceptance, ISALC will send a letter of acceptance and I-20

 

7 ISALC - Costs Per Semester 1998-99

• Application fee = $45

• Insurance = $234

• Tuition and fees = $4,664

• Room & board

-19 meal plan = $3137

-14 meal plan = $3018
