ISALC: ESL 382: Computer Applications - Fall 1998

Hi! My name is Abdulla Al-Qubaisi and I am from the United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Middle East. My favorite sports is playing volleyball and basketball. Also I have many friends they like to play this game Also in our country these two games are popular after the soccer. And also I love to go fishing with my friends all weekend. I love to go with them.

ABUDHABI is the capital of the UAE and it is a beautiful city. I hope all you friends have a trip to the UAE. You will enjoy your time there because there are parks and museums. I'm sure that all of you will have a wonderful time there.

I'm studying English in the ISALC of Lewis and Clark. The ISALC at Lewis & Clark is very good because they have a very strong English program and the teachers are very friendly and kind. The ISALC also teaches students skills such as how to use the computer in order to understand the language of today's world. The ISALC gave me pleasure with its way of teaching and gave me friends with its friendship family program. I love to have many friends from different countries I want to continue my education in an American university, and I want to major in computer engineering.
