ISALC: ESL 382: Computer Applications - Fall 1998

Hi everybody. Im Khalaf Sultan Al Dhaheri from theUnited Arab Emirates. Im 24 years old. My country is located in the Middle East. It was established in 1971.Its very hot in the summer and cool in the winter. I hope if any one of you will visit my country. I will be your tour guide. It would be a great trip. Be careful, don't visit my country in the summer.

About my self, I have five brothers and two sisters. I graduated last year from Alain University. I have been working in a bank for one year. My major is accounting. The bank has sent me to the United States to improve my English skills. I joined Lewis and Clark College last semester. My older brother has been studying here for two years and he encouraged me to study in this school. Really I like the way they are teaching us and there is an improvement in my language day by day. I d like to advise the new students if you want to learn English just do your homework and attend class; I promise you will get benefits. My plan is to start my Masters degree next year. I t will be in accounting. It is called CPA (certified public accountant)

My hobbies include swimming, travelling and computers. I like to travel a lot. I have been in many countries. Two weeks ago I was in London with my friends. It was a very nice trip. If I get a second chance I will travel to Italy and Cancun. I have never been there before.
