ISALC: ESL 382: Computer Applications - Fall 1998

Khaled Al Hajeri

Who Am I?

My name is Khaled Yousuf Al-Hajeri. I come from Kuwait and I'm eighteen years old. I have two brothers and one sister. I have two brothers that are older than me by a few years, and a younger bother named Turky. I know that it is a bird in English, but in Arabic, Turky, is a very famous nameJ. And last but not least my little sister Latifa; she is the cutest thing in the world to me and she is about five years old. My parents are back home in Kuwait wishing me the best of luck in my studies. And I live with my big brother in downtown Portland and he goes to P.C.C., majoring in economics.

I came to the states to study about computer science because I love what a computer is capable of doing, but before I can study about computers, I have to improve my English a lot. I have a dream that may sound stupid, but to me it's everything, I want to be great in computers to learn how to create video-games but mostly I want to learn how to draw textures and create graphics to be a video-game maker. And I want to be the best program designer that ever lived, better than Bill Gates, creating my own company that develops programs and mostly creates video-games that not only pleases people but educates as well. I'm trying to achieve all of this by studying very hard, keeping this dream alive and hoping for the best.
