ISALC: ESL 382: Computer Applications - Fall 1998
Hello everybody? I would like to introduce myself by this composition. First of all, my name is Majed Sami Abulola. I am 19 years old. I am from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Jeddah is a coastal city on the Red Sea. I came to Portland, Oregon, to improve my English language, and also to enter into the university. My plan is to take a Master's degree in Computer Science. Actually, my dream is so different because I would like to be a pilot, the same as my father and two brothers.
There are lots of hobbies I like such as computer games, chatting, meeting more and more American people, and also watching movies. About my sports, I like to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, and go swimming. And about my family, I have three brothers not counting me, that means we are four brothers, and one sister.
I would like to give my classmates some advice about Level 300. You have to study very hard to get a high grade, and also to be ready for the 400 classes because if you pass from Level 300 it means you are ready to take the TOFEL test and that is going to be very hard for you guys and also for me. I hope this advice will help, and good luck for all you guys. Every thing will be easy if you study hard.
