ISALC: ESL 382: Computer Applications - Fall 1998
My name is Masanori Ito, and I am from Japan. I was born in Niigata, which is in the northwestern part of Japan, next to the Sea of Japan. My hometown is Sendai. It is the northeastern part of Japan, next to the Pacific Ocean. My hometown is so beautiful and called "the City of Forest" because it has big and beautiful streets lined with trees. Sendai is the most important city in the northern part of Japan. I grew up in Sendai.
My family includes my father, mother, and one older sister. My family often does something together, for example; shopping, playing, and cooking.
I have many hobbies, for example; fishing, playing sports, cooking, and playing the guitar. My best hobby is fishing. I started to go fishing at ten years old. My fishing specialty is lure fishing. Why I like to go fishing is because I can fight nature. I think fish are a part of nature.
I have a big dream. It is to be a professional fisherman in the United States and Japan. I think it is so difficult that I become a professional fisherman. I try to become that.
