Using the *Internet - Student
Guidelines
*Internet = Email, the World Wide Web, Newsgroups, Chat, Audio
and Video Conferencing, etc.
- I understand that the Internet is a public area and that any
information I put on the Internet could be accessed by anyone.
- I agree that I will not put anything on the Internet that I do
not want to be public. This includes my address, phone number and
possibly my e-mail address.
- I agree that I will not release on the Internet the personal
information of anyone else without their written permission.
- I agree that I will not impersonate anyone while using the
Internet.
- I agree that I will not respond to any Internet communication
I receive from someone I do not know. In such a case, I will
consult with an ISALC teacher or member of Information
Technology.
- I agree that I will not allow any unauthorized person to use
my account.
- I agree that I will not knowingly put anything on the Internet
that is offensive or harassing.
- I agree that I will not put any plagiarized information on the
Internet and I will not use the Internet to violate any copyright
laws.
- I have read and agree to follow the Lewis & Clark
"Responsible Use of Information Technology Policy", which can be
found at http://www.lclark.edu/~infotech/POLICIES/RespUse.html
I have read the above guidelines and agree to follow them.

Permission to Publish
I understand that neither my work nor photos of me will be
published on the Internet without my permission. By signing this
"Permission to Publish" form, I give permission to my ISALC teacher
to publish my work as well as photographs of me. I understand that I
may withdraw this permission at any time and for any reason by giving
a notice in writing to my ISALC teacher.
