--A Student Project--

AES, Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon

The Culture Capsules project is a collection of multimedia Web pages produced by intermediate and advanced level ESL students in the Academic English Studies program at Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon. Students work with a partner for approximately 15 class hours to produce their Culture Capsule. See "How to Create Web-based Culture Capsules," a TESOL 2001 presentation, for complete plans to create Culture Capsules. Enjoy the students' work!

Want to try this project out with your students? Send me links to your students' Culture Capsules!
Thanks,
Michael Krauss

NOTE: Culture Capsules have links to Web sites and images. Because Web addresses change and Web sites come and go, you will find some "dead" links, especially in the older projects.
