A. Brainstorm and discuss: (10 minutes)

B. ESL Independent Study Lab: (15 minutes)

Works like a language lab only better! Available to anyone with Internet access, anywhere, any time. Can be used in a computer lab as a whole-class activity or used independently on campus or at home. Teachers can assign sites to be studied based on student need or leave the choice up to the student. Many of the sites include follow-up writing activities which result in students' writing being published on the Web at the ESL Independent Study Lab.
