URL: http://www.quia.com/jg/131735.html

Students: 6th-8th grade English language learners

Activity: The game is matching the infinitive form with the past tense form.I'd like to use this to help my kids review irregular verbs.

Ideas: There are tons of ways this could be used with my students...unfortunately I don't always have computer access. Next year I should have more computer access. With my beginning level English learners I could have my students create quizzes for others in their class. For my intermediate students I would like to have their story quizzes on Quia...less paper...less work...more interest on the part of my students.

Thanks.

Kelly Kulzer

Ideas: No time. I will do this later as a follow-up to my Quia project. I plan to do more with this! Thanks, Michael!!

Students: mixed ages; level three community college listening/speaking class (ESL 151)

Activity: This activity is intended to review multiple word idioms from the first chapter of All Clear: Idioms in Context by Helen Kalkstein Fragiadakis. This will allow the Ss to review/practice the idioms interactively in a game-like context.

Ideas: I'd like to experiment more with the various activities and quiz options. I think it could lend itself to having the Ss write their own sentences using the idioms in context and then post them so they could practice with each others work.
