Changing Illusions - Have you ever watched the sun set over the ocean? It looks as if it is going into the water, but it isn't. This is just an "illusion"--something that looks different than it really is. Look at these five illusions. Use the dial and follow the directions to change the picture. Eye4U - This website uses high technology to create advertisements (ads) for businesses. There are amazing visuals and sounds. NOTE: After this site opens, click on "Showroom." Look at several ads. Flash Mind Reader - This site will amaze you! At the site: Choose any two digit number. Add the digits together. Then subtract the total from the original number. (Example: If your number is 23, add 2 + 3 =5. Then, 23-5 =18). Take the resulting number and find it on the chart. Notice the symbol on the chart next to your number. When you have it in your mind, click the crystal ball and the symbol you were thinking about will magically appear.

  • "Multiply" (example: 3x2=6)

Who Wants to Win A Million Dollars!? - This game is based on the popular TV show. The rules are the same as the TV show, but you are not playing for real money. All questions are about science or math. Play this game in a group. Help each other with difficult vocabulary and hard questions. When you discuss, use these phrases: "What do you think? Are you sure? Let's choose (A or B etc.) Why don't we guess (C or D, etc.). I don't think so, I don't agree, Yes, you're right, Let's try it! We got it! We missed it!"
