secure place for online meetings and conversations. Setting up

the Chat feature.
- Dave's ESL

Dave's English as a Second Language Chat Central promises fun
chatting with ESL/EFL students and teachers from all around the

be together in the Lobby). Fun graphics can be posted with your
message. You may send private messages. No logging capabilties.
You must register (and confirm by email) before entering a
Chat.
- Tapped In
This is an on-line teacher community meeting place. Resources
include text-based chat and private messaging, threaded discussion
boards in every room, conversation transcripts automatically

According to the site: "Tapped In offers TPD providers and other
organizations the latest in online technology, along with the
online learning strategies and support needed to use online
technology effectively."
- Teacher Talk
Forum
Teacher Talk is a fast-growing online community where K-12
teachers can discuss classroom techniques, trade lesson plan
ideas, and support one another. Free.
- PedagoNet
This works best for a quick impromptu Chat. There is no
registration required. No private Chat rooms. No private messages.
Very basic and simple.
- Teachers.Net

"This is a resource dedicated to open discourse among the teachers
of the world. We encourage you to contribute to any discussion
that interests you. Responses to current threads can be posted
