For more than 30 years students from all over the USA have been coming to participate in our Year of Study in Munich program, and to experience what many have called "the best year of their life". They study in Munich, make new friends here, grow personally and intellectually, and at the end they take something with them that lasts a lifetime.
Two years ago we started our Annual Contest for Students of German Studies and the results have been amazing! More than 500 students from colleges and universities throughout the USA have entered for a chance to win a trip to Munich. Each year in June, five lucky winners come and enjoy a "once-in-a-lifetime experience" (Sujin Lee, Rice University).

This will be the third consecutive year that we have held the contest and we are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to visit us and experience Munich. The contest is part of our Munich Partner Program, which has been designed to establish new partnerships between the U.S. and Munich. We hope that many of you will find that learning a new language and discovering Germany and our European neighbors is a rewarding and unique experience.
