Overseas and other off-campus programs form an integral part of the total educational experience at the College.

They support and enhance on-campus curricula and provide unique academic and experiential opportunities abroad. The purpose of overseas programs is to immerse students in a foreign culture so that they may become informed firsthand of the history, culture, and contemporary issues of the area; understand the way people of the host country view the rest of the world; and gain insights into their own culture by comparing and contrasting American institutions and values with those of the host country.

In addition, programs provide students with academic knowledge and experience related to specific fields of study not available on campus.
