"NEW DIRECTIONS, NEW INSTITUTIONS, LOOKING TOWARD THE FUTURE"
The PNWPSA has traditionally welcomed the attendance and participation of our political science colleagues, who for one reason or another, location, size of department, budget, community college status, or whatever do not have a regular opportunity to meet with colleagues from other schools in the area who share the same teaching and scholarly interests. The PNWPSA provides an atmosphere where such encounters can take place in a congenial social and scholarly environment.
Progam panels were scheduled for all day Friday and Saturday morning. The conference concluded around 1:00 pm Saturday. We enjoyed a Lake Coeur d'Alene cruise on Friday evening. Hors d'oeuvres were provided, and a no-host bar on board. The Business Meeting for the Association members was held on Saturday morning with a continental breakfast. At the annual Business meeting on Saturday morning there was an election of officers.
