The Nicholas Wolterstorff
Young Scholar Award

The Nicholas Wolterstorff Young Scholar Award was given this year to two scholars who have have made significant contributions to Reid scholarship and the study of the history of philosophy.
Terence Cuneo, of Calvin College was given the award for his work on the Cambridge Companion to Reid, edited by Terence Cuneo and René Van Woudenberg.
Todd Buras, of Baylor University was given the award for his work on the Hume and his Critics Conference, held at Baylor University in April 2005.
The Nicholas Wolterstorff
Young Scholar Award recognizes and honors Nicholas Wolterstorff's contribution
to the study of the history of philosophy, and in particular his work in mentoring
younger scholars. The award is made possible by a generous contribution from
Nicholas Wolterstorff, as well as contributions from the Centre for the Study
of Scottish Philosophy and the Reid Society.
