2002-2003 Greenhouse Gas Inventory

For the past three years inventories have been conducted to assess the College's emissions for the previous school year. The most recent inventory was performed this past summer for the 2002-2003 school year, and is available online. The inventory allowed us to determine how many offsets we needed to purchase.

Notes For Lewis & Clark College Standardized Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Excel Workbook (.doc)

These notes should be read in conjunction with the Guidelines for College-Level Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventories, Version 1. The bulk of the methodology embodied in the Lewis & Clark College Standardized Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Excel Workbook is derived from these Guidelines. However, unlike the Guidelines, the LCC workbook was designed specifically with Lewis & Clark College in mind. In addition, some improvements in methodology discovered after the publication of the Guidelines. have been incorporated. These notes serve to highlight and provide justification for these changes.
