The Fibromyalgia Alliance of America is a non–profit national patient organization. The Alliance provides knowledge concerning fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) to the medical community; supports research into the causes of FMS and effective treatments for FMS; educates the public and private sector about fibromyalgia; and provides information and support to affected individuals, their families, and others. Membership includes a quarterly newsletter, "The Fibromyalgia Times."

Annual membership is $25.00.

Fibromyalgia Association of Greater Washington (FMAGW) provides resource information on fibromyalgia syndrome to FMAGW members, healthcare professionals, and the general public. The tax-deductible membership includes a "new member packet" containing a Monograph, information on fibromyalgia syndrome, a program calendar, a catalog of available publications and audiotapes, and FMAGW's newletter, "Fibromyalgia Frontiers." FMAGW members also receive discounts on sale products/ programs.

Annual membership is $25.00 ($12.00 for students).

The Well Spouse Foundation (WSF) is a national, non–profit membership organization which provides support to husbands, wives and partners of people with a chronic illness and/or disability. A year's membership in the Well Spouse Foundation provides six issues of the WSF bi-monthly newsletter "Mainstay," information about other WSF publications, a list of current WSF support groups as well as help to start new groups (including a Group Leadership Guide), the opportunity to join a Round Robin letter-writing support group and invitations to the organization's annual conference as well as other weekend meetings around the country.

Annual membership is $25.00 for members living within the US or $30.00 for members outside the US. However, no spouse/partner is denied membership in WSF due to financial hardship. If you are unable to afford full membership dues, WSF will accept whatever contribution you can make.
