I. Team Check-ins
Women’s and Men’s Crew- home regatta last weekend. Did well and still room for improvement.
Softball- played PLU last weekend and have Pacific and George Fox this weekend
Baseball- at Linfield this weekend
Track- doing well in individual races. Kate Ross broke 400 hurdles school record.
Soccer, women’s bball, swimming- offseason

III. Faculty Reception/Letter
Letter updated
Previous dates are booked so Burdett and Nicole will look into the next Wednesday which is Wednesday April 20 in Smith or Stamm
Steve would like us to include a purpose for the breakfast into the letter
The purpose being to create a dialogue between faculty and athletes and support and what it’s like to be a student athlete at LC
The more we reach out to them the more they could become involved
IV. Academic Integrity Letter

V. First Year Meeting Facilitator
A meeting with first year student athletes to talk with each other and meet new people. They get into small groups led by upperclassmen and discuss first year concerns and struggles. The idea is to show that people go through the same problems.
Suggestions: needs to be more guided to avoid too much complaining
If anyone is interested in being a facilitator please contact Jenny by the end of the week.
VI. Student Athlete Banquet
April 28 at

VII. New Positions/Descriptions
Co-chairs (male and female)- spokespeople, represent LC at conference SAAC, meet w/ admin
Secretary- take notes, be in charge of membership and attendance (rewards), order food for meetings and send minutes to members and coaches
Interathlete coord- plan events, set up buddy teams and SAAC BBQ
Campus Outreach coord.- promote sports to community
Treasurer- handle SAAC budget and deal with fundraising and sponsorship for special events
