L&C Students Excel at the Voting Box

For the 2018 midterm elections, Lewis & Clark’s student voting rate was an award- winning 21.3 percent higher than the national average according to the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement, conducted by Tufts University.

On average, the voting rates at participating college campuses doubled in 2018 compared to the previous midterm election in 2014. Lewis & Clark, in particular, increased voter turnout from 37.1 percent in 2014 to 60.4 percent in 2018.
