Food Service Waiver

  1. The Lewis & Clark catering policy encourages, but does not require, use of Bon Appétit Food Service by all external and internal clients for catering of food in public spaces.
  2. Additionally, the policy recognizes traditions of “potluck” gatherings sponsored by College departments and organizations. It provides a protocol and helpful educational tools for potlucks.
  3. Finally, the policy provides external, hosted, and internal clients the opportunity to utilize Bon Appétit food, its personnel and/ or equipment, and at Bon Appétit’s discretion, to supplement potluck gatherings, with reasonable client charges.
  4. The event planner completing this registration hereby confirms that the information contained in this registration is true and correct, and further certifies that he/she has consulted the USDA food and safety inspection service flier, 7 Food Safety Steps for Successful Community Meals to help ensure safe preparation and handling of food at the event.
  5. If planning to serve alcohol at an event with a food service registration, the event planner must secure an Alcohol Use Approval in advance.
  6. Be sure to complete all * items, and in particular, be sure to include your Room Reservation confirmation number (this verifies that you have reserved on-campus space for your event.)
  7. By completing this food service registration, the event planner understands  that if there are questions regarding this registration, he/she will be contacted by the Conferences and Events Office or designate.
  8. For requests from members of the Law School community, this food service registration will automatically route to the Office of the Assistant Dean of Administrative Affairs, Business Services.
