Chris Scheffler BA ’10 is in his second year of a MS/PhD program in applied physics at Portland State University. He received a Science Mathematics and Research for Transformation Scholarship from the U.S. Department of Defense. The scholarship funds four years of his graduate program in exchange for work with the department as a civilian scientist after graduation.
