SPSS Installation Instructions

SPSS is available for academic use for the College of Arts & Sciences and Graduate School of Education & Counseling

SPSS Installers can be found in this folder:

SPSS Downloads (LC Google Credentials required)

Download the appropriate Mac installer for your system and then open it to run. If you are not sure what version to use for your computer, you can contact the IT Service Desk who can assist you in determining your Mac OS version. For example, if you are running Big Sur Mac OS or newer, you will need to download the .pkg installer as the .dmg file will not work.
During installation, you’ll be prompted if you are an Authorized or Concurrent User — Choose Authorized User License. Answer the remaining questions during the installation process.
Choose that you want to License My Product now and enter the code appropriate for your version.

Download the appropriate exe installer for your computer (32bit or 64bit). This will take some time. Once downloaded, run the .exe installer.
During installation, you’ll be prompted if you are an Authorized or Concurrent User — Choose Authorized User License. Answer the remaining questions during the installation process.
Choose that you want to License My Product now and enter the code appropriate for your version.
