Classroom Response System Refresh
16-ET-0203 |
Timeline |
Project Stage: Planning Project Summary: The project is intended to identify and implement new classroom response technology to support current use and need. Project Lead: Miranda Carney-Morris Relevant changes following completion: Our current classroom response system is comprised of TurningPoint clickers designed to interact with locally installed TurningPoint software. Both of these technologies are being deprecated by the vendor. This project will determine and implement new classroom response technology to support existing use and need. Anticipated service disruptions: As this project is intended to replace or refresh a current system, the previous system will likely cease function. Additional considerations: IT has proposed the use of several BYOD based “clicker” applications. |
Project Submitted: 6/1/2016 Project Initiation: 6/6/2016 Project Milestones: Completed Project: This project will be considered complete when a new (or updated) classroom response system has been identified, tested, and implemented. Anticipated Quarter of Completion: Quarter 4 Executive Council Priority Tier: Tier 1
