Project Stage: Planning Project Summary: This project is intended to increase our emergency communication efficacy and potentially breadth through the recommendation and purchase of an enterprise level emergency communication solution. The IT staff would help shepherd an analysis of our current emergency communication protocols, then produce a gap analysis of the breadth and efficacy between existing communication and our ideal communication protocols. Following these analyses, the project team will provide a recommendation for a software solution to remedy those gaps. The purpose of this project is to improve our campus-wide notifications in an emergency situation. The project team would identify gaps in our current notification schema, and make recommendations for an enterprise-level notification system that would match our current system’s capabilities while expanding to cover as many of those identified gaps as is technologically and fiscally feasible. Project Lead: TBD Relevant changes following completion: A detailed recommendation for improving our emergency notification systems will be delivered to the college’s interested parties. Anticipated service disruptions: TBD. Additional considerations: |
