The annual Baccalaureate Celebration is an inspirational, interfaith event that features a keynote address, a student speaker, readings and prayers, and musical performances by members of the class of 2017.
This year’s theme is “Aspire to Inspire” and Professor Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell will give the keynote address. There will be a vocal performance by Miguel Guerrero, John Durant and Sarah Bucknovitz, and an instrumental performance by Jessica Meyerzon on the piano and Spencer Mackey on the violin, and the event will conclude with singing by a group of senior a cappella singers including Cat Volpe, Emma Rempel, Monique Calfe-Smith, Miranda Shakes, Ashley Yoo, Miguel Guerrero, John Durant, Spencer Mackey, Kira Tobin, Nathan Phipps, Sarah Bucknovitz, and Arielle Valdez. The student speaker will be Missy Rogers, and there will be prayers by Valcourt Honore and Rachel Perry and poetry by Ajna Weaver. Baccalaureate 2017 promises to be an uplifting event that will truly aspire to inspire, so pease plan to come and bring your family members too!
