Wednesday April 18 at  6:00 p.m.
202 JR Howard Hall

During this hour and a half long workshop, members of Critical Resistance Portland will guide attendees through a mixture of presentation and participation on: a look at the 20-year history of Critical Resistance’s national work in pushing for the abolition of the Prison Industrial Complex (PIC), including current and local projects; a framework for breaking down an understanding of the vast reach of the PIC; and, a foundation in understanding what it means to do abolitionist work. Participants should come ready to engage with tough and exciting questions, and to dig in to the rich potentialities of envisioning a present and future of abolition!

This workshop is free and open to the public
