Supporting Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Survivors

Date: 5:00pm - 6:30pm PDT April 15 Location: PSU: Smith Student Union, Parkway North

  • Portland State University Women’s Resource Center

PSU: Smith Student Union, Parkway North

In celebration of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Portland State University is hosting a series of events in April centering on their 2019 theme: “We Are Worthy: Combatting Disposability and Honoring Our Inherent Worthiness.”

Join PSU this Sexual Assault Awareness Month, as we collectively center how our futures are all interconnected, and that a truly violence free culture must offer safety and dignity for us all.

This panel will center the voices and experiences of trans & gender non-conforming survivors to examine the intersection of transness & survivorhood to better understand the barriers in pursuing advocacy, legal support, and medical care. A Q&A will follow.
