Staff Development Workshop: Disability 101

Rescheduled from last spring, the Office of Equity and Inclusion in partnership with Student Support Services presents “Disability 101: How to create an inclusive space for students and colleagues”.

Facilitators: Dr. Kayleigh McCauley and Sarit Cahana

Workshop Objectives:
- Learn about a variety of disabilities and related possible accommodations that are available for students here at Lewis & Clark
- Learn key issues related to physical and academic accommodations
- Become familiar with the process by which students and employees access accommodations
- Identify ways to refer students to on-campus and off-campus disability resources

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, to engage fully. To be respectful of those with allergies and environmental sensitivities, we ask that you please refrain from wearing strong fragrances.

This workshop is open to current staff and faculty at Lewis & Clark. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
