Group runs are fun, rewarding, and empowering, and there is no better place for a casual trail jog than Tryon Creek State Park! We’ll meet in front of Templeton and head out for about a 2-3 mile jog on the trails, with walking mixed in. This jog is all about self care and getting out there regardless of your fitness level!

The trails are mostly uneven, sometimes steep, and can be muddy if there is rain. This makes the run a lot of fun!

You need to have a mask very readily accessible around your neck or in your hand, but while running we will be spread out and you can run without your mask up. When we pass someone on the trail, you will need to be wearing your mask properly.

Perfect for beginners! If you are new to trail running, this is the place to start! We’ll take a comfortable easy pace, with breaks to walk and stretch.

Covid-19 Mitigation:

  • Consider signing up with your “pod” mates
  • Masks and 6ft distancing required
  • Groups capped at 10 people (including leaders)

Meeting Place:
We’ll depart from in front of Templeton Campus Center (aka, the “Bon”). Look for the “College Outdoors” sign.
