Lewis & Clark College’s Environmental Studies Program recently received a $600,000 award from The Andrew Mellon Foundation to support its innovative interdisciplinary approach. We have just completed our first summer of funded research projects, and invite you to a showcase on Wednesday September 21 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM in 302 JR Howard Hall. The showcase introduces two key features of our Mellon-funded initiative - situated research and social learning - via a series of interactive presentations, following the schedule below. Please consider attending some or all of the presentations; we’ll have refreshments, and you can meet student and faculty participants.

If you’d like further information about the Mellon initiative, please visit our new website, Situating the Global Environment, at sge.lclark.edu.
