She supervises the administration of NCVLI's grant with the Office of Violence against Women\, including by c ollaborating with other organizations\, planning training sessions\, and fielding legal technical assistance requests. Alison has worked on a broa d range of technical assistance requests at NCVLI\, including drafting am icus briefs\, and performing research and drafting memos on issues relati ng to sexual assault\, domestic violence\, and privacy\, among other topi cs. She has presented at both local and national conferences on victims' rights. She has also been appointed by the Oregon Attorney General to Ore gon's Sexual Assault Task Force. Prior to joining NCVLI\, Alison worked a s a litigation associate at Orrick\, Herrington &\; Sutcliffe in New Y ork City. Alison has a BA in English from the University of Michigan an d a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. \; Martha Strawn Morris\, Director\, Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services Martha Strawn Morris is the Director of the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services in Portland\, Oregon. The Gateway Center is a one-stop shop where domestic violence survivors and \; their children can acce ss a wide variety of public and private services including criminal justi ce services\, civil legal services (including access to restraining order s)\, mental health services\, monetary assistance\, and safety and crisis planning among others. Martha was hired by the City of Portland when the Gateway Center was only a concept. Since opening in September 2010\, the Gateway Center has helped thousands of victims and their children access advocacy and other services that support their safety and autonomy. From 1998 until 2009\, Martha developed programs for the Multnomah County Fam ily Court to improve outcomes for vulnerable families navigating the lega l system. During those years\, Martha conceptualized\, implemented and ma naged many successful public-private collaborative programs including the Family Involvement Team (family treatment court equivalent)\, the Family Probation Program (coordinating adult probation and child welfare servic es)\, and the juvenile court facilitation program (offering comprehensive domestic relations assistance to pro se litigants referred by the juveni le judge). Martha has a BA from Portland State University and a JD fr om the University of Arizona College of Law. Martha lives in historic NE Portland with her husband\, Sloan\, and two children\, Sofia (7 years old ) and Jackson (5 years old). \; Janine Robben\, JD Janine Robbe n was a prosecutor in Oregon for more than 20 years\, specializing in pro secuting crimes against children\, the elderly\, and other vulnerable gro ups\, as well as financial fraud. \; She left prosecution to help the Portland Tribune newspaper and was then in private legal practice before being hired to help start the Oregon Crime Victims Law Center in July 20 09. \; The Center now has an administrative director and Janine serve s as its legal director and only attorney on staff. \; Christopher F. Wilson\, PsyD Dr. Wilson is a licensed psychologist in Portland\, Oregon who has been involved in the field of domestic violence since 1999 . \;He provides regular trainings on topics such as the dynamics of abusive men as well as the neurobiology of trauma. \;Dr. Wilson has given talks both regionally and nationally\, for a wide range of organiza tions such as the Office for Victims of Crime\, the National Crime Victim Law Institute\, the Portland Women's Crisis Line\, and the Oregon Attorn ey General's Sexual Assault Task Force. \;He also works directly wit h victims of domestic violence and other forms of abuse\, and conducts do mestic violence evaluations. \;His experience also includes working with offenders. \;Currently\, Dr. Wilson runs a full-time private pr actice in downtown Portland that includes working with clients\, as well as providing supervision\, consultation and training. \; X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
