Fabulous Fungi
Vancouver, B.C.
I just finished reading “Something Fungi Underground” about Peter Kennedy’s research in the winter Chronicle.
As a blind person, I miss those moments when I happen upon an interesting article by chance. Normally, I wouldn’t have sought out an article about the relationship between trees and fungi. But when my volunteer reader mentioned the headline, I decided to give it a chance. It turned out to be a real treat.
My compliments to the writer, Oliver Baker, on taking potentially complex material and turning it into such an articulate, interesting, and easy-to-follow piece. It’s been the highlight of my day!
