President Glassner has appointed Hal Abrams as vice president for Institutional Advancement, a position previously held by Greg Volk, who recently left Lewis & Clark. Abrams joined Lewis & Clark as associate vice president of individual giving this spring. Previously Abrams was director of major gifts and associate athletic director at the University of Oregon. He has also served as director of the office of planned giving at University of Oregon, and earlier in his career worked in development at the University of California at Berkeley.

President Glassner also promoted Lisa Meyer to dean for enrollment and communications. In her new position, Meyer will oversee the Office of Public Affairs and Communications and work closely with all three schools to support their public relations and communications endeavors. Meyer, who joined the college as dean of Admissions and Financial Aid in July 2011, brings a wealth of experience in admissions, financial aid, and strategic communications. Previously, Meyer was vice president of enrollment at Whittier College, and dean of admissions and associate vice president for institutional image at the University of La Verne in California. She also served as director of foundation and corporate relations and stewardship at Scripps College.
