Special invitation to the 15th Annual Environmental Affairs Symposium

Dear LC Community,

In connection with the 15th Annual Environmental Affairs Symposium, “Environmental Entanglements Across the Pacific,” you are invited to participate in two special events: an evening reception at the Lan Su Chinese Garden and our closing banquet. These events are free for LC students, staff, and faculty, but space is limited so be sure to sign up now to reserve your spot!

Reception at Lan Su Chinese Garden:
October 16, 7-9 pm, NW 3rd Ave. and Everett St.

Come wander the Chinese Garden at night to the sounds of gamelan music as you peruse posters of work by LC community members relating to the Symposium theme.

This dessert reception is co-hosted by Alumni and Parent Programs, so it’s also a great opportunity to make connections beyond the Hill.  Shuttle service from campus to the garden will be available.  More details on the event are available here.

Wrap up a week of exploring themes of environmental connections across the northern Pacific basin by enjoying dinner featuring East and Southeast Asian cuisine.
