Drs. Janet Davidson, Jennifer Labounty, Erik Nilsen, and Todd Watson are collaborating on the nation-wide project, “Broad Implementation: Creating Communities Of Learners For Informal Cognitive Science Education.”

Psychology faculty members Drs. Janet Davidson, Jennifer Labounty, Erik Nilsen, and Todd Watson are collaborating on an NSF-funded grant project, “Broad Implementation: Creating Communities Of Learners For Informal Cognitive Science Education.” Lewis & Clark is one of the many partners in this nationwide project. Beginning in Fall 2011, they will conduct and showcase on-site research in the museum’s early childhood exhibition and work with OMSI staff in generating formative evaluation data.  As noted in the abstract, this project is centered around a “Living Lab” Model of informal cognitive science education, which will be introduced to OMSI and other hub museums throughout the country during the first year and refined during the second year. Broad dissemination of this model will begin during the third year of the grant. (November 2011)
