College receives Truman Award

Lewis & Clark College is one of only four colleges in the nation to receive a 2002 Truman Foundation Institution Award. The foundation honored Lewis & Clark for its commitment to encouraging outstanding young people to pursue careers in public service and for its success in helping its students win Truman Scholarships. Seven Lewis & Clark students have been named Truman scholars during the past 12 years.
