Phi Beta Kappa inducts 47 students

Lewis & Clark College’s Gamma of Oregon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa initiated 47 new members in March.

Seniors are chosen for membership after careful review of their academic records; they must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5. A smaller number of juniors are chosen, after similar review, from those who have a GPA of at least 3.75. The faculty review committee of Phi Beta Kappa looks for academic excellence and breadth in the liberal arts as well as good character.
