Passages: Jacob Valdiviezo Celebration of Life, April 15

A celebration of life for Jacob Enrique Valdiviezo will be held on Monday, April 15, at 4:30 p.m. in Agnes Flanagan Chapel.  A sophomore from San Francisco, Jacob died while visiting his family during spring break. He is survived by his parents, Carlos and Margarita, and his older brother, Carlos.  Jacob graduated with honors from Archbishop Riordan High School, where he played cornerback on the football team.  Jacob continued to pursue his passion for football during his time at Lewis & Clark, playing wide receiver and special teams for the Pioneers.  He was planning to major in economics.

Jacob was an inspirational figure with a wonderful, positive spirit.  He was a great motivator and made friends easily.  Jacob’s smile and good nature were in constant evidence, and he will be deeply missed by our campus community.A reception will be held immediately after the celebration of his life.
