The Food Recovery Network recently certified Bon Appétit for diverting edible food from Lewis & Clark for donation to Urban Gleaners.

Bon Appétit was recently certified by the Food Recovery Network for its efforts to divert edible food from Lewis & Clark for donation to Urban Gleaners.

Urban Gleaners’ mission is to help alleviate hunger by collecting edible, surplus food that would be thrown away and distributing it to agencies that feed the hungry.

Bon Appétit and Lewis & Clark donated over 6,000 pounds of food to local elementary schools in approximately eight months.
