Alice Asmar BA of Burbank, California, has completed a book of paintings and poetry called Dance to the Great Spirit: An Artist’s Sacred Journey Into American Indian Ceremony. Asmar won the top prize of the Artistic Committee of the Fondation des Etats-Unis Inaugural Art Competition in 2012, and her paintings will hang in the corridors of the Fondation in Paris for two years. Her most recent show was in October, when her work appeared in the Amitié-Expo 2013 art show in Beverly Hills.
