The Office of Conferences and Events is looking forward to a busy and exciting summer, beginning next week and continuing through the middle of August. Events include Alumni Weekend, weddings in the Estate Gardens, and more than 30 conferences and youth camps—with many of the guests planning to stay overnight in our residence halls.
“Whether the participants are first-time visitors or have come to Lewis & Clark many times, we hope they have a great experience,” Associate Director of Conferences and Events Kerry Keenon said. “While they are visiting we anticipate they will explore our beautiful campus and learn more about the educational opportunities Lewis & Clark has to offer.”
There are a few simple things everyone can do to make our guests feel comfortable:
- If you see someone on campus who looks like they might be a visitor, give him or her a warm welcome.
- Wear your nametag at all times so visitors can easily identify whom to ask for assistance.
- Offer directions to anyone who seems a bit lost or confused.
- Encourage guests to visit the Manor House, the College Bookstore, Templeton Campus Center, the Rose Garden, or your favorite spot on campus.
