Foreign languages major takes first in Chinese language competitions
Emily Block ’10, a foreign languages and literatures major, won first place in the Chinese writing and speech contests at Portland State University.

Emily Block ’10, a foreign languages and literatures major, won first place in the Chinese writing and speech contests organized by the Confucius Institute at Portland State University.
In addition to her academic work, Block is the illustration editor for the Pio Log newspaper. Her art appeared in the Portland Mercury recently.
