Comings and Goings: Please welcome IME Director Tonya Daniel

This month, Tonya Daniel joined the Lewis & Clark community as the new director of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement.

This month, Tonya Daniel joined the Lewis & Clark community as the new director of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement (IME).

Most recently, Tonya served as the director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Illinois College, where she provided leadership in initiating programs related to diversity, inclusion, and social justice. Tonya earned a BA in religious studies and philosophy from the University of Alabama, and an MA in higher education and student personnel from the University of Mississippi.

“Tonya is passionate about and actively engaged with advancing efforts in the areas of equity, access, and social justice,” said Associate Dean of Students for Student Engagement Cathy Busha.
