Lewis & Clark College is one of the nation’s best colleges for students seeking a meaningful education with great career preparation at an affordable price, according to The Princeton Review in its newly released 2016 edition of Colleges That Pay You Back.

The guide states, “We strongly recommend and salute the colleges we present here for all that they do to help their students with need afford to attend them while delivering an amazing college experience that’s worth every penny.”

The Princeton Review chose the top 200 schools based on return on investment (ROI) ratings it tallied for more than 600 schools. They weighed 40 data points that covered everything from academics, cost, and financial aid to graduation rates, student debt, and alumni salaries and job satisfaction.

In addition to being included in the overall list, Lewis & Clark has been included in the volume’s list of the top 25 schools for making an impact.

Schools making an impact were selected based on student ratings and responses to survey questions. The ranking also took into account PayScale.com’s percentage of alumni from each school who reported having high job meaning.

The Princeton Review is known for its school profiles and rankings, including its Guide to Green Colleges, which last year ranked Lewis & Clark College the most sustainability-minded college in the nation.
