Professor of Law Samir Parikh is taking on a new role: director of Lewis & Clark’s Center for Entrepreneurship.

He succeeds Amelia Wilcox BA ’81, acting director and assistant professor with term of psychology.

With his legal experience in guiding Fortune 200 companies through financial restructuring, Parikh is well informed on what works—and what doesn’t work—in business. His hope is to bring that wisdom to undergraduates with their own entrepreneurial ambitions.

“I’m very excited to get to build on my predecessor’s good work and take the Center for Entrepreneurship to the next level,” says Parikh. “Bolstering academic and practical offerings and strengthening our connections to Portland’s dynamic start-up scene are two of my top priorities.”
