Colleagues, We Need Your Input and Perspective

Dear Colleagues,
On this day where we recognize staff who’ve reached milestone years in their careers at Lewis & Clark, I write to wish you well on what is sure to be a busy and fulfilling spring semester. I also wish to solicit your input on two important matters in the life of Lewis & Clark.
First, I encourage you to take part in what I believe is our first-ever employee engagement survey. Next Monday, January 22, you will receive a voluntary and confidential survey administered by industry-leader Gallup. It should take you only five minutes to complete the 12-question survey, which will remain open until February 2. Please let us know how we’re doing.
Second, on Monday, January 29, you will receive a survey soliciting input on the strategic direction for Lewis & Clark. At our fall retreat, Executive Council focused on planning, and we’re asking you to help us with an accelerated process that starts with the best from existing research and documents. Your input will serve to guide us as we move the institution forward generally and for a comprehensive campaign specifically.
Thanks for help with these surveys, and thank you for all that you do day in and day out. I hope to see you at our Founder’s Day celebration on February 1!
