Please Encourage Students to Complete Engagement Survey

Every other year, the College administers the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) to first year students and graduating seniors – and needs faculty and staff to help ensure a good response rate! Please encourage first year students and seniors to complete the survey upon receiving the email invitation.
As noted on the NSSE website: “NSSE annually collects information at hundreds of four-year colleges and universities about first-year and senior students’ participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development. The results provide an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college.”
The information we receive from NSSE results is vital to our assessment work, helps guide institutional planning, and is an important data source for our accreditation efforts. Thank you in advance for getting the word out to your students that their participation matters.
