New Post-Conviction Toolkit Resources

The Victims’ Rights Enforcement Toolkit(Toolkit) is an online resource of accessible information to assist practitioners with understanding victims’ rights, and provide practical tools to assist with asserting and seeking enforcement of the rights.  Through a cooperative agreement from the Office for Victims of Crime, we have been hard at work developing new tools focused on victims’ rights post-conviction.  These tools will help advocates and attorneys support and defend victims’ rights throughout post-conviction processes.

Our newest tools can that can be viewed and downloaded are Post-Conviction Select Definitions, which provides accessible definitions for many terms used during post-conviction processes, and Federal and State Post Conviction Flowcharts, which overview possible case paths post-conviction.

Check out all of the tools in Toolkit and be sure to check back often for additions in the coming months.

Portions of this Toolkit supported by Grant No. 2017-VF-GX-K026, awarded by the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
