Below, get to know Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology and learn why she supports Lewis & Clark.

What is your role at Lewis & Clark?

I’m one of the program co-directors for the Professional Mental Health Counseling program in the Counseling Psychology Department in the Grad School.

Why do you support Lewis & Clark?

I contribute to the diversity scholarship that was established by the parents of one of our long-time faculty members.

What is your favorite thing about working at Lewis & Clark?

My colleagues! I feel really lucky to be working with this wonderful group.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love camping and hiking in various beautiful locations. My family and I take an “annual pilgrimage” to the redwood forest in Northern California.

What is your favorite book?

This is the hardest question! I’ve loved reading many of the “great classics” that you’ll find on top-books-of-all-time lists, but I’ve also loved reading many of the books that my kids have read over the years. For example, when my oldest daughter started reading Harry Potter books in second grade, I also started reading them and I couldn’t put them down until I got to the last book! I also love cozy mysteries and am currently a huge fan of Louise Penny.
